AADAP’s begins with a mental health assessment to screen for symptoms of addiction or co-occurring mental health disorders. Other services include the following:
Client’s attend individual and group treatment sessions for improved coping skills, peer support, and recovery support. Participants attend alcohol and drug educational classes, receive counseling, and attend family therapy. Sessions are held 3-4 days a week and youth can expect 6 to 19 hours of counseling per week. The program is open to individuals aged 5 to 20.
AADAP accepts Medicaid, MediCal, self-pay, and private insurance. Sliding scale payment assistance may also be available. You’ll want to check with your provider to verify specific coverage details, including your out-of-network benefits.
