About Action Drug Rehabs – Bakersfield Outpatient Services – Bakersfield

Action Family Rehab has several locations in California. Their Bakersfield location offers medical detox, residential and intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment for adolescents and adults of all genders. They are a LBGTQ+ safe space.

Residential treatment allows individuals to heal from substance abuse disorder in a neutral location away from the everyday triggers they faced previously. The experienced staff will work with clients to create an individual treatment plan. This may include psycho-educational classes, individual and group counseling, self-help groups and other evidence-based treatments. If needed, clients can recieve medical detox upon entering treatment.

Action Family Rehab also offers IOP for all ages. Treatment takes place three times a week in three-hour blocks with a once-a-week family session. IOPs allow individuals to get the support they need to heal and recover without having to exit their lives to do so. Clients aged 12-17 and 18 and over meet in separate groups.

Their aftercare program and alumni network ensure that no one feels alone in recovery once they transition out of treatment.
