Action Family Counseling believes in helping individuals develop healthy behavioral patterns in all possible areas of their lives. They also believe that changes are an important part of a successful recovery. They emphasizes the family involvement during and after the healing process.

Their intensive outpatient program include a different group sessions for teens ages 12-17 and for adults and young adults ages 18 and above, 3 sessions weekly for 3 hour each session, the length of stay is 3 month (approximately), family sessions weekly and aftercare planning.

They also incorporate physical exercise and recreational therapies including hiking, basketball, swimming and gym privileges supervised by their staff.
