About Alberta Professional Services – Homestead Place – Chapel Hill
Alberta Professional Services – Homestead Place offers inpatient treatment for individuals with a severe mental health diagnosis. The program includes group therapy, recreational activities, medication management and more. Alberta Professional Services – Homestead Place is located at Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
At Alberta Professional Services – Homestead Place residents will be encouraged to experience hopefulness, respect and validation through moral and character development activities and throufh artistic or creative activities. The resident’s religious traditions will be respected.
Alberta Professional Services – Homestead Place is a 4-bed inpatient treatment for adults with persistent and severe mental illness. Residents at Homestead Place are active participants in the treatment plan development. Medication compliance and independent living skills will be provided through the program.
The first goal of the program is a reduction in the number duration of psychiatric hospitalizations for residents. Their second goal is to promote living skills and independence so that residents might live in their own apartments someday. They are compromised to provide meaning, purpose and hopefulness to their patients.
