One of the things I like most about this program is the activities they plan for their clients to show them new ways of having fun. Some activities the staff have arranged in the past include swimming at Barton Springs and hiking at Big Bend National Park. Seeing the fun you can have without substance use may inspire you to try new experiences in Austin, such as visiting the LBJ Presidential Library.
The Alpha Launch program focuses on helping individuals develop the life skills needed for resilience and overall well being. The staff members will offer support services such as career coaching, academic support, and case management. The goal of this program is to help you flourish in all aspects of your life so that you’ll be less likely to relapse in the future.
