Arbor Circle’s Counseling Services is a substance abuse and mental health treatment facility. They provide intensive outpatient (IOP) and outpatient services to adults, children, and families. Arbor Circle works closely with community resources to provide comprehensive care. They’re located in Newaygo, Michigan.
IOP is a high intensity day treatment program that’s sometimes used as a step down following inpatient treatment or partial hospitalization programs. In IOP, clients have multiple appointments a week and they work with their care team to craft their treatment plan. Services may include individual and group therapy, case management, peer support, and recovery management.
Outpatient care is lower intensity than IOP. It meets less often or for shorter sessions. Clients may transition from IOP into outpatient treatment or enter it directly.
MAT is a method of treating opioid addiction that utilizes counseling and medication.
