Arbor House Supportive Living Program in Hannibal, New York, is a long-term residential treatment program and sober living home that helps men and women suffering from drug and alcohol dependency, opioid addiction, and dual diagnosis treatment.

Arbor House Supportive Living Program provides residential treatment, medication assisted treatment, and sober living for men and women.

Adult residential treatment at Arbor House is for men and women who can benefit from supervised addiction treatment in a safe and structured environment where stabilization can occur. Housing, meals, and the daily routine are planned out to help provide a new foundation. Counseling, therapeutic interventions, drug screening, and meetings are required.

Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is the use of medications approved by the FDA to help those who are addicted to opioids or alcohol manage the withdrawal symptoms and cravings without debilitating side effects. This therapy is used in conjunction with mental health counseling to provide a greater chance of success.

Sober living homes, or halfway houses, are safe, substance-free, supportive living facilities for those recovering from alcohol or drug addiction. Often these homes are utilized after completing an inpatient program to help create a stable environment while slowly reintegrating back into society. Intermittent drug screening is mandatory and required in order to participate in their program.

Dual diagnosis treatment is used when there is a co-occurring addiction and mental health disorder. There can be two or more mental health concerns present simultaneously. It is very common for people who struggle with addiction to also have an underlying mental health concern like anxiety, depression, or a diagnosable psychiatric disorder. Without proper treatment of the mental health condition at hand, getting and staying sober can be difficult.
