For some individuals, traditional outpatient care is provided through a clinical, home-based, or school-based setting. For others, outpatient care is best provided through the available partial hospitalization program for children and adults, or the intensive outpatient program available for adults. There is also a structured outpatient addiction program (SOAP) for adults who need more robust services.

Through outpatient care, you’ll have access to medication-assisted treatment using FDA-approved medications such as suboxone or methadone. After detox, treatment will continue through counseling services including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and specialized therapies including music, dance, art, and drama therapy.
