About ASAC – Area Substance Abuse Council – Hightower Place – Clinton
Area Substance Abuse Council (ASAC) Hightower Place, located in Clinton, Iowa, offers residential drug rehab to adult women as well as women with children. Hightower Place focuses on empowering women to receive treatment while they remain with and care for their children.
Residents will have access to 24/7 support as well as a safe and sober environment to live in. Treatment focuses on a life of sobriety, educational skills, individual therapy and group sessions. Individuals will set goals and willingly participate in group meetings. The length of stay will vary for each individual.
To gain admittance, women must have a recent substance use disorder assessment. This can be done at ASAC or elsewhere within the past 90 days. During the assessment, women will meet with a counselor to discuss treatment options and they will recommend a level of care for your situation. Additional housing criteria are in place including no tobacco/nicotine or cell phones.
