Tucked into the Chesapeake Bay on a 147 acre campus, Ashley Addiction Treatment is an alcohol and drug addiction treatment center in Havre De Grace, Maryland. They offer evidence-based inpatient treatment for adults that focuses on healing of mind, body, and spirit. Ashley accepts most major insurance providers.

Treatment includes a dual diagnosis mental health assessment, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, psychoeducation, recovery support groups, and relapse prevention planning. Clients have direct access to services that address medical, clinical, psychological, and psychiatric needs. Specialty services address co-occurring disorders such as trauma, anxiety, and depression. During treatment, clients learn how to manage cravings and develop a plan to transition to their next stage of recovery.

For those who need medically monitored detox, Ashley offers an on-site detox program. Clinicians treat withdrawal symptoms using FDA-approved medications to allow clients to detox as safely and comfortably as possible. Additionally, detox clients benefit from recovery education classes and peer support programs.

Prior to a client’s leaving inpatient treatment, the team at Ashley determines a comprehensive aftercare plan. Typically, the plan may include detailed relapse prevention activities, outpatient support groups, and follow-up appointments with their therapist and clinician.
