They recognize that addiction is a disease requiring your therapist to address the physical, mental, social and spiritual aspects of health. You work one on one with skilled therapists, clinicians and trainers to address the underlying trauma and mental health conditions that often act as triggers to addiction. The dual diagnosis program recognizes that substance abuse typically doesn’t develop on its own and treating mental health conditions alongside substance abuse increases the potential for success.
Continuing care occurs in intensive outpatient treatment programs that are gender specific and offer a structured opportunity to transition into the community. You have weekly case management services, sessions with your primary therapist and group therapy three nights a week.
