Baldpate Treatment Center (Formerly Baldpate Hospital)

Baldpate Hospital is located 30 miles north of Boston in Georgetown, Massachusetts. They provide medically assisted detox from substances including alcohol and other prescribed or illegal drugs.

The detox program at Baldpate Hospital is a medically assisted detox program. This means you’ll have medical staff monitor you throughout the process. You’ll also be given FDA approved medications that are used to support the detox process and to help reduce your withdrawal symptoms.

Once you’ve detoxed and are physically stable, you can enter their inpatient treatment program. You’ll go through the remainder of the treatment process which includes therapy and educational classes.

Aftercare programming is for when you have successfully gone through their treatment program but still need support once you return home. The purpose is to provide a safe space to continuously work on recovery. This might include support groups and referrals to other resources in your community.
