Designed to treat both mental health and addiction issues, IOP here offers clients comprehensive and confidential treatment services to help them make positive changes in their lives. Individuals with concurrent mental or behavioral health conditions and dual diagnoses are accommodated here, with special attention given to the ways in which said conditions may have caused or be impacting the client’s addiction.
Participants can benefit from structured, therapeutic care taking place 3-4 days per week, with 3 group therapy sessions each day. Before embarking on their recovery journey, all clients undergo psychiatric assessments and work with professionals to develop their own personalized treatment plan.
The program incorporates various therapeutic styles, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), psychoeducation, psychodrama, and solution-based therapy.
Medication management sessions with a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse are also available. Transport assistance can be provided where needed to help clients get to and from sessions, and lunch and light snacks are also offered.
For individuals in need of further, more intensive care for more severe addiction and substance abuse issues, referrals can be made to other nearby locations that are also part of the Beacon Behavioral network.
