About Beacon Mental Health – Richmond
Beacon Mental Health, formerly Tri County Mental Health, is located in Richmond, Missouri. They have an outpatient program for psychiatric and mental health needs and they provide outpatient substance use treatment for adults and adolescents. Quick note: as of this writing, their hours are currently very limited, and they’re open for three hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
When they’re open, their outpatient mental health services include help with family relations, interpersonal relationships, psychiatric illnesses, situational stressors, and life span issues. You can get individual or family therapy here with therapists who provide a range of help and scheduling options.
They work with youths and adults on behavioral therapy providing assessments, crisis services, home care, and psychiatry. They have additional services for adults like psychosocial rehab, therapeutic alternative programs and help with employment. They provide care for seniors as well, and they use innovative treatment practices that have proven recovery oriented outcomes.
This facility’s hours are limited, but what stands out about their organization is that they’re focused on helping each person while including spouses and or entire families. Adults and adolescents aged 12-17 can get help with substance use here while they like to include families and significant others in their treatment and therapy sessions. Along with help for substance use problems, they partner with a clinical service team to address social, emotional, physical, mental and spiritual needs.
They’re very centered on community events, fundraisers, and programs. They have outreaches that focus on preventing tobacco, alcohol and other drugs while promoting health, safety and well being for youth in Ray County. They also partner with many youth activist organizations, like Youth with Visions and Grow Strong KC, to prevent kids from starting drugs.
