BARC – Broward Addiction Recovery Center – Edgar Mills Multi Purpose Center provides addiction treatment services for adults in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This center specializes in intensive and general outpatient services to help adults overcome their substance use disorders. They accept telehealth appointments.

Their goal is to treat the physical symptoms of addiction while also healing your mind and body. Your counselors will show you how to live a healthy lifestyle by reflecting inward on your personal recovery goals. They’ll also teach you important life skills and share advice on how to improve your relationships. Their intensive track includes six to eight weeks of structured counseling sessions while the general program has a more flexible schedule.

In addition to individual, family, and group therapy, they can also connect you to local community support groups. If you need healthcare beyond what their office can provide, they’ll refer you to nearby offices that can help.

Medication assisted treatment is available in all outpatient programs. If your provider believes that FDA approved addiction medications can support your progress and make recovery more comfortable, they may recommend this service.
