About Calvary Chapel – Blessed Hope Women’s Residential Discipleship – Orrington
Calvary Chapel – Blessed Hope Women’s Residential Discipleship is located in Orrington, Maine. This ministry works with women who want to escape from living with drugs, alcohol and any other controlling issues. Blessed Hope is a Christ-centered drug and alcohol program that is an alternative to secular programs offered in the community. During this treatment, each individual becomes a new woman through faith in Jesus Christ as outlined in the Bible.
This program begins with residential treatment and includes step down levels of care. It’s a non-smoking program.
This women’s addiction program has three phases. The first is called Basic 1. This is a two-month phase where women follow a restricted schedule and complete foundational courses of personal study. Residents attend daily instructional studies and regular church services. In this phase, clients focus on addressing the issues that led to destructive behavior.
I appreciate that Blessed Hope is also a work program that teaches proper work ethics. Each day, women will complete work projects on the residence and Calvary Chapel properties.
Basic 2 is a four-month segment of the program. Women dive deep into Bible studies, increase their study classes and many complete work projects outside of the residence with a focus on serving others.
The final transitional phase is six months long, and women live in a transitional facility. At this stage, women apply what they’ve learned as they enter society. You will find a job, pay rent, follow house rules and continue in fellowship at Calvary Chapel.
