SalusCare – Cape Coral Campus is in Lee County, Florida’s only mental health crisis stabilization center. This facility endured extensive damage from Hurricane Ian in October 2022 and is still temporarily closed.

This crisis stabilization unit provides the highest level of inpatient psychiatric and stabilization care for individuals in psychiatric or substance abuse crises. When a person is admitted they meet with a psychiatrist, have a physical, and meet with the treatment team to stabilize the current crisis.

While in treatment, program participants engage in group and individual therapy, recreational activities, and discharge planning. Individuals are also connected to housing support and other community resources.

SalusCare may work with your insurance provider to cover some or all of the cost of treatment services.
