Catholic Charities Community Services of Orange County is an addiction treatment facility stationed in Newburgh, New York. They have a holistic approach to treatment but, at the end of the day, seek to establish a psychological, physical, and spiritual foundation. I noticed that they also treat heroin, alcohol, and opioid addictions. I also admired that they don’t turn anyone away due to their inability to pay. They provide day rehab and outpatient services.
Their day rehab program takes place five days a week and for five hours each day. It’s a hefty commitment, but there’s a lot of payoff for those seeking recovery. If you’re in high school, they have high school equivalency exam preparations to help you put your best foot forward come testing day. They also provide vocational and job readiness training, and have recreational activities and art therapy.
Their outpatient program offers everything you’d expect. That includes individual therapy, group counseling, and family therapy. Plus you’ll learn skill building and have a customized recovery plan just for you.
