Catholic Social Services of the UP

Catholic Social Services of the UP provides outpatient substance use treatment at its office on Ludington Street in downtown Escanaba, Michigan. As a private non-profit, the program combines cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and 12-step facilitation with buprenorphine maintenance for opioid use disorder. Clients across Michigan’s Upper Peninsula can access individual, group, family, and couples counseling, plus telehealth therapy and recovery coaching. A sliding fee scale and broad insurance acceptance help make care reachable for young adults, seniors, veterans, pregnant and postpartum women, and justice-involved clients in the Escanaba area.
