About Cayuga Addiction Recovery Services – Ithaca
This facility offers outpatient addiction treatment, recovery coaching, and medication-assisted treatment for adults.
Through an intensive outpatient program or an outpatient program, participants engage in individual and group therapy that helps get to the root of addiction and relapse prevention skills. Outpatient support groups allow you to collaborate with peers and provide encouragement to individuals walking the same path.
Recovery coaching allows you to create a plan for long and short-term goals and create lifestyle changes as you reevaluate your relationship with drugs and alcohol. Coaches help you set milestones, check on progress, and navigate any challenges that come up.
Through clinical therapy and prescription medications, individuals in the MAT program heal from opioid dependence. Medications like buprenorphine and naltrexone are used to reduce withdrawal symptoms, decrease cravings, and help sustain recovery long-term.
