CADS is a drug addiction treatment center for adults located in Davenport, Iowa. Their programs include detox, medication assisted treatment, residential treatment, outpatient treatment, and transitional housing.

Their medically monitored detox is overseen by medical professionals. This program takes place in a specialty unit that has 24 hour a day supervision by staff. Licensed professionals monitor vital signs and implement medications to create as much comfort as possible. If you have more extensive pharmacotherapy needs, you’ll receive meds along with comprehensive medical, psychiatric, and behavioral counseling. As needed, FDA approved medications are used to support withdrawal from opioid drugs and to help maintain long term abstinence. By combining medication with mental health treatment, a greater chance of success is achieved.

The residential treatment program is designed for those who need a structured setting that helps them stabilize mentally, physically, and emotionally during the initial phase of recovery. Individual, group, and family counseling are offered. The length of residential treatment depends on the severity of the addiction and each client’s needs and goals.

Outpatient services include both intensive and extended levels of care. Both have individual, group, and family counseling with a length of stay that varies depending on personal goals. Group therapy involves treatment through the process of connecting in a group setting to discuss and work through mental, emotional, and physical issues. There’s a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, and psychoeducation.

Their Halfway House program is if you need ongoing living arrangements due to an increased potential for continued use or for continued time in a home where stability and safety are present.
