The medication options that are offered at this facility include naltrexone, methadone, Vivitrol and Suboxone. The staff will determine the best medication to use for your treatment based on factors such as your health history and substance use history. The goal will be to help you no longer feel withdrawal symptoms and control your cravings while you receive addiction counseling.

The length of time you’ll be taking these medications can vary from a few months to a few years. When a client is interested in no longer taking the medication, the clinician will come up with a plan to gradually reduce the dosage over time. Your treatment plan will be continually monitored and adjusted based on your current progress.

The behavioral therapies that the facility will use to help you overcome addiction are dialectical behavioral therapy and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy. DBT focuses on teaching you how to manage distress and regulate your emotions without using substances. EMDR therapy will focus on helping you change the way you respond to triggers that can cause you to use substances.
