Centerstone Tullahoma – North Jackson Street is an outpatient drug and alcohol rehab facility located in Tullahoma, Tennesee. They treat adults and adolescents for substance use disorder (SUD). They also treat people who have a mental health condition and a substance use problem at the same time. They are a non profit organization that operates in four states.
They will give you an assessment when you enter which will include a drug test and a series of questions. The questions will ask you about the type of substances you use and the frequency at which you use them. They will ask about your medical history as well.
If you have a large amount of drugs in your system then they may refer you to one of their inpatient detox centers. They also have residential facilities in other parts of the state if you need full-time care.
They provide outpatient care at this center. They have an intensive outpatient program in which you will come in for treatment several times a week for several hours a day. They also have an intervention outpatient care level that includes peer support and counseling services.
Your treatment plan will include group and individual therapy sessions. Although they are not a part of Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous, they do offer NA and AA meetings here. They can provide medically assisted treatment if necessary.
They are a research facility for substance use disorder treatments. They use their own research results when treating patients. They do this to avoid the gap that often exists between researchers and practitioners.
