About Central Clinic Behavioral Health – Cincinnati
Located in central Cincinnati, Ohio, north of the Ohio River, the Helen Rose Ziegler Professional Building is home to several programs that Central Clinic offers to children, adolescents, and families. Here, they provide numerous behavioral health services, including addiction and recovery services, primarily for children and adolescents.
As a community based nonprofit mental health organization, Central Clinic fulfills an important role in Hamilton, Butler, and Clermont counties as a gateway to the region’s public mental and behavioral healthcare services. Because of this, they’re able to provide services at a high quality to individuals on Medicaid or who need financial assistance.
Within the context of their Child and Adolescent Counseling Services (CACS), they’re able to provide mental health assessments to see how best to treat the children or teens who come to them for assistance. If needed, they can provide short term counseling to help deal with the immediate effects of an active substance use issue.
Their initial evaluation will show them how to achieve the clinic’s primary goal, which is to help minors succeed in both their home and schooling environments. From there, they’ll provide individual counseling, which includes psychoeducation on substance use. They can also offer a referral to a more intensive program if the patient’s needs meet that criteria.
Cental Clinic understands that the health of children and adolescents greatly depends on their family environments. Within their network of services, they have an integrated recovery program for families that provides substance treatment services and a host of social supports to children and their family members.
