Central Plain Center operates the Reed Adolescent Center, a private drug and alcohol addiction treatment program. It’s a residential treatment program for adolescent boys and lasts 90 days. A residential program is a high intensity treatment program where clients live at the facility for the duration of treatment. This program has 12 beds and provides clients with security and around the clock supervision and care from staff. Residential programs are typically reserved for those with severe symptoms.
Clients receive individual and group treatment. While the goals underlying the program are increasing personal responsibility and self esteem so they can better avoid substance use. Services offered include group counseling, AA and NA meetings, drug and alcohol addiction, exercise, and other recovery activities.
