About Champion Center – Lompoc
Crestwood Champion Healing Center used to be known as the Champion Center. It’s based in Lompoc, California. They offer treatment for drug and alcohol abuse and co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Once you enroll, you’ll have options for inpatient treatment, outpatient programs, dual diagnosis treatment, and aftercare. Their main clientele are adults, but they also have specialized care for seniors and clients who suffer from trauma.
At Crestwood Champion, inpatient care starts with a personal evaluation and customized treatment plan. Three levels of inpatient care are available. Which one you enroll in is determined by how acute your condition is. In each option, you’ll have group and individual therapy, community outreach, holistic therapy, emotion management and life skills development, and career coaching. All levels feature cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy approaches to prevent relapse.
After the inpatient program ends, you’ll transition into outpatient treatment. You’ll still have group and individual therapy, emotional stabilization, and interventions. The main goal is independent living and managing your symptoms when you go back to your communities. To help do this, you might receive a mentor and should participate in local events.
The center is accredited by CARF, so you know they meet a professional level of care.
