The focus is on culturally competent content and content that helps clients ultimately learn how to make good decisions for themselves. By working with youth and adults, families can move through treatment together when possible. If a higher level of care is needed, referrals to inpatient treatment services can be made on behalf of the client. Referrals to outside organizations can also be place to assist clients in meeting unmet needs.
