The facility treats individuals who need help recovering from substance use disorder, mental illness, or dual diagnosis. Clients are also allowed to bring their children with them.

A unique treatment that you’ll have access to at this facility is auricular acupuncture. It involves placing thin needles on specific points of the outer ear. The treatment is designed to help clients control pain and other uncomfortable symptoms related to their addiction.

Acupuncture may also help with promoting feelings of inner peace and relaxation. With a reduction of stress, you can feel less desire to use substances as a coping mechanism.

It’s common for women to develop substance use disorder after traumatic experiences such as physical and emotional abuse. The staff will provide clients with PTSD and trauma counseling to help heal the underlying issues that cause you to use unhealthy coping mechanisms. The counselor may use therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy to change negative beliefs limiting your recovery and introduce you to healthier ways of coping.

Chrysalis wants to make sure you have everything you need to be successful in overcoming addiction. You’ll have access to transportation to and from the facility for convenience. Before your completion of the program, the staff can assist you with accessing transitional housing so that you remain in an environment that’s supportive to your healing.
