About Community Behavioral Health – Second Street – Hamilton
Community Behavioral Health’s Second Street clinic was located in Hamilton, OH. They’re now closed but they provided substance use disorder treatment using a variety of treatment plans and a multidisciplinary team approach. The team first did a comprehensive evaluation of your mental health and substance use disorder needs before developing a personalized treatment approach.
Their chemical dependency services included outpatient treatment, day reporting, drug court, and the Treatment Accountability For Safer Communities program abbreviated TSC. This program connected you with community resources, including case management, drug screenings, and adult assessment.
The day reporting program offered services if you were involved with the court or an at-risk population. These services included education to help meet your needs for rehabilitation during your probationary period. If you were on probation and qualified for the day reporting program, you also had access to educational classes and groups that addressed anger management, chemical dependency and life skills as well as a batterer’s group. They also offered day and evening adult intensive outpatient programs and would work with you on a sliding scale fee structure.
They provided programs to educate the community on drug and alcohol addiction prevention and treatment. They were certified by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction services and accredited by The Joint Commission to serve residents in Butler County and the surrounding area.
The outpatient substance use disorder program was abstinence based with the goal to teach adolescents and adults a new way of living. This included assessment, treatment, and an aftercare program to ensure a healthy lifestyle. Walk in assessments were available Monday through Friday. They were part of the Butler County Mental Health System and supported by Warren County United Way.
