Elizabeth Upjohn Community Healing Centers is located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. They offer prevention and mental health counseling services for youths to reduce alcohol and drug use as well as other risky behaviors. They also have adult outpatient recovery and mental health programs.
The youth prevention program provides education about substance abuse. They also send staff out into the community to local businesses that sell alcohol and tobacco to help them understand the dangers of selling those products to minors. They have individual, couples and family sessions. They’ll help you deal with everyday stress and give you training for basic life skills. They also help with peer support and relapse prevention.
Their Children’s Treatment and Outreach Program has a wide range of options to help with mental health needs. They offer therapy and counseling that includes parent/child interaction therapy and adolescent outreach. This program is for children 17 and under, and their families.
