Community Health Resources provides substance use disorder treatment for adults in outpatient and residential settings. They’re located in Einfeld, Connecticut. The residential programs use evidence based treatment approaches that are based on a comprehensive evaluation that you undergo to identify your unique needs.

Their inpatient and residential resources include the Milestone Intensive Residential Treatment program, New Life program for women and children, and Routes to Recovery: a Holistic Approach To Substance Use Treatment. Approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI) help you learn the skills you need to function independently in the community while at the same time maintaining your sobriety.

After completing the residential program or as your initial therapy, you may be treated in an outpatient setting. This is ideal when you have the skills and support you need at home to recover without 24/7 supervision in a residential setting.

The outpatient program includes treatment for substance use disorders, medication assisted treatment, and a Spanish language program for adolescents. They also provide a range of housing situations and sober living environments where you can receive ongoing treatment as well as help with education, employment, and medical services. They also provide resources for veterans and their family members who have mental health or substance use challenges.

They accept most major insurance policies and will verify your insurance coverage before beginning treatment.
