Community Youth & Women’s Alliance, CYWA is located in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. They strive to support families and transform lives by providing addiction treatment, food and housing support, parenting classes, and help with children’s services to women and their children.
They work to use their comprehensive resources, guidance and substance abuse services to promote healthy lifestyles and build resilient families. They note that they put a strong emphasis on helping pregnant women and children.
They have an inpatient drug and alcohol program that helps women during their journey to recovery and continuous sobriety. They want to help mothers not only get sober but develop independent lifestyles and become strong parents and successful women. They’ll give you a personalized treatment and recovery plan with support from positive role models and help within the community.
They have the Gateway Shelter program which provides emergency temporary housing for women and children up to 12 years old. They also try to help residents build self sufficiency. While you stay here you’ll engage in activities that help prepare you to get back to living on your own.
They also have a Family Center program that’s focused on helping families who live at or around the poverty level either keep their housing or find it. They look to provide you with these important resources and guidance needed to thrive.
