About COPE Community Services, Inc. – La Cholla Clinic – Tucson
COPE Community Services is a private, nonprofit healthcare organization accredited by CARF. They provide outpatient services for children and adults who are experiencing serious mental illness, emotional disturbances, mental health issues, and substance abuse.
In Tucson, Arizona community members can get behavioral health care at the La Cholla Clinic. They provide medication-assisted treatment, individual family and group counseling and substance abuse programming.
COPE offers medications for opioid use disorders. Combined with counseling, these medications can make a real difference in helping clients reach long-term sobriety.
They also offer a full continuum of care for substance misuse. Staff can refer you to residential programs if you need more intensive treatment at this stage in your recovery.
I like that so many additional services are offered to clients that can support their recovery. For example, they offer case management to support you and overcome barriers. They’ll also help you with your application for housing and can offer referrals. They also offer skills training and development so that you can find and maintain employment.
A big part of their programs include health education, promotion and prevention as well as outreach programs. You’ll also get access to peer support so you can build bonds with others who are going through a similar journey.
COPE also provides apartment-based day programming.
If you have co-occurring mental health concerns, a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner can provide medication services.
