Correctional Psychology Associates (CPA) provide outpatient services for substance abuse as well as mental health evaluations and medication management. Services are provided at their office and at various correctional facilities. Correctional Psychology Associates (CPA)
All their groups and individuals sessions are based on the “what works” literature.
Substance abuse program is based on the cognitive-behavioral approach. The clients will identify triggers underlying substance abuse, as well as develop individualized plans for change and relapse prevention. The program also includes homework assignments and is based upon stages of change and motivational interviewing techniques.
There is a Relapse Prevention group for those who have already made substantial progress towards changing their lifestyle and thought patterns.
They utilize a wide range of assessment methods to diagnose and treat offenders, including: initial intake interviews, formal psychological assessments, and ongoing behavioral observations.
The cost of a groups sessions is $30 and for an individual therapy is $45.
