About Court of Justice-Detention Center – Lexington
New Vista – Fayette County Detention Center Clinic is an outpatient mental health treatment program in Lexington, Kentucky, at the center of Old Frankfort Circle. This is a collaborative service between New Vista and the Fayette County Detention Center to assess the mental health needs of inmates and deliver behavioral health services. They serve incarcerated adults.
The purpose of the program is to identify and treat mental health and behavioral concerns once clients arrive at the facility. Care is delivered with the goal of reducing recidivism. Services offered include:
Assessments and treatment take place at Fayette County Detention Center. Clients have regular meetings with their care team to receive treatment and participate in therapy. Treatments are individualized to each client’s needs.
Clients are assessed for mental health needs upon admission to Fayette County Detention Center. Once needs are identified, the care team designs a treatment plan uniquely suited to the client’s needs.
Some services are available remotely. This ensures that treatment is still accessible at times when in person meetings aren’t readily accessible. Jail triage services allow clients to connect with care services via telephone 24 hours a day.
Clients who are hard of hearing are provided with accommodations so they can participate in treatment. This may include hearing aid devices or interpreters.
