Covenant Hills is an addiction treatment center for adults in San Juan Capistrano, California. They provide a variety of services to help you break free from the chains of addiction including detox, residential treatment, day treatment and general outpatient care. They offer gender specific programs and their services are rooted in faith-based principles.

Something that stands out to me about this facility is that they provide a complete continuum of care. For example, if you need to detox before you begin the next stage of your recovery journey then they will connect you with an affiliated medical center to perform that step. From there, you’ll begin your treatment.

Most people are in their program for around 60 days. I like that they treat men and women separately so you aren’t distracted during your sessions. You’ll gradually progress from their around the clock inpatient program into their less structured outpatient model. Your treatment plan will cater to your unique needs and may include group or individual counseling, psychoeducation, psychological sessions and spiritual support.

Once you’ve completed their program, they also offer transitional care. During this time, you’ll refine your recovery goals and prepare to live a life of sobriety. They also provide comprehensive aftercare services including regular group meetings. Most clients speak very highly of their time in this program. Several noted that it turned their life around and that the staff members are incredible.
