Mental health assessments help clinicians evaluate a client’s substance use disorder, its severity, and co-occurring mental health conditions. This informs an individualized treatment plan, which may include individual, group, and family therapy.

Creekside Ranch offers a medically monitored inpatient detox program that allows individuals to safely and comfortably detox from drugs and alcohol.

The residential treatment program uses evidence-based practices to treat addiction, such as dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and eye movement desensitization and reprogramming (EMDR). Treatment begins with a comprehensive mental health assessment and the development of an individualized plan of care. Participants will also attend psychoeducational groups and recovery meetings to develop their coping skills.

Like the residential program, IOP includes individual and group treatment sessions that provide improved coping skills, peer support, and recovery support meetings. However, participants in the IOP return home each night rather than live at the facility. Sessions are held one to four days per week.

Most addiction treatment programs have a comprehensive aftercare plan which provides relapse-prevention strategies, recovery activities, and membership to an alumni program for ongoing support.
