Crossroads Clubhouse

Crossroads Clubhouse is a community organization located in Hopedale, Massachusetts that’s committed to helping individuals live life to their fullest potential. They do this by helping individuals who are experiencing struggles with their mental health including those who have a co-occurring substance use disorder.

Crossroads Clubhouse works with people from all walks of life including adults who might have physical or intellectual disabilities. Everyone is treated with dignity and is supported by judgment free care regardless of their past struggles.

You’ll experience this compassionate care firsthand when you start receiving services here. Care is offered in an outpatient setting but you can get connected to other programs that will help you find residential support including safe housing if you require it.

This organization specializes in supporting you with mental health struggles you might be facing and they take a comprehensive approach to substance use recovery as well.

They have a tobacco cessation program along with their Dual Recovery Anonymous (DRA) program. Through this program children and their families will be empowered by drug education services and an alternative 12 step recovery program.

You’ll be encouraged to take over your recovery, lean on peer support specialists, learn how to manage difficult emotions and experiences and gain the skills you need to lead a life of health and wellness.

You’ll find that there is a strong sense of community and structure here as well. For example, through their work structured units, you’ll develop your employment skills so that you can achieve your employment goals. You can practice real world skills including working in spreadsheets, working with data, newspaper production, understanding finances and so much more. There are also education programs, health and wellness programs, and other skill building activities you can engage in too.

Finally, I also appreciate their supportive community here. There are regular social events that take place during the weekends, on holidays and other special occasions where you can connect with others.
