About Crossroads Turning Points – Homelake
Based in Monte Vista, Rio Grande County, Colorado, Crossroads Turning Points is a nonprofit, accredited alcohol and drug rehab agency. They offer support to teens and adults including parents, pregnant and postpartum individuals. In terms of payment they accept Medicaid and self-pay options.
This organization has been offering addiction treatment services since 1979. As one of southern Colorado’s largest drug rehab providers, they offer services across 22 counties. They offer a full range of addiction services designed to see clients through their entire recovery journey. From detox to inpatient, and eventually outpatient support — they’ve got the whole thing covered. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is also offered throughout for those who need it using FDA-approved methadone, Suboxone, Vivitrol, and Sublocade.
Their main program is known as their Strategic Individualized Remediation Treatment, or STIRT program. Throughout this program, individuals are taught healthy coping skills to prevent any substance use-related brushes with the law, and help them successfully transition back to their life and community. STIRT is considered intensive since it condenses approximately 30 to 45 days worth of residential treatment into 21 days. Following this, clients can expect 49 weeks of aftercare and continued support.
If clients have tried other types of treatment with little to no success then they can try this center’s residential program. Available to both men and women, including pregnant and postpartum individuals, those with concurrent mental health issues and those with a criminal background, it’s an extremely inclusive and accessible program.
Outpatient services are also available with services including drug and alcohol assessments, and personalized treatment plans as well as group, individual and family counseling.
