About Crystal Creek Lodge Treatment Center – Browning
Crystal Creek Lodge Treatment Center, located on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Browning, Montana, provides residential and outpatient treatment for adults in addiction recovery. They take special care to ensure all of their services are culturally sensitive and appropriate, providing care for the local Blackfeet Indian tribe as well as anyone else who requires their services.
While living at the facility, clients will engage with their peers, learn healthy life skills, and enjoy opportunities for socialization. However, it isn’t all play and no work. There’s also a dedicated teaching element to the program. During their treatment, clients will attend educational workshops on topics related to addiction and recovery, including self-esteem development, relationship building, and anger management. They will also participate in 12 step, peer based support groups.
When clients are ready to transition into a lower level of care, they can take part in the Center’s outpatient treatment program. Available services might include individual and group counseling, recovery focused education, relapse prevention training, and case management.
The goal of both programs is to equip clients with the tools they need to overcome their condition and reintegrate successfully into their homes, workplaces, and communities. To help them get there, the providers also offer vocational training and classes on communication skills. As they learn how to live a life without drugs or alcohol, they’ll focus on moving forward in healthy and productive ways. The facility also offers a full calendar of healthy, sober activities that residents can participate in together.
This appears to be a compassionate and respectful rehab center that’s definitely client-centered. Their focus on education and career counseling means they want to support each client for the long term, setting them up with the resources they need to succeed once they leave the program.
