About Cumberland River Behavioral Health – Crossroads – London
Based in London, Kentucky, Cumberland River Behavioral Health’s Crossroads facility specializes in accredited residential addiction treatment. As a men’s-only program, treatment is available to men aged 18 and older.
Clients here can expect a full-service addiction treatment program. Though the facility primarily serves its 8-county area, statewide referrals are also accepted. However, spots are limited, since the Transitional Living Program only has capacity to house up to 8 clients for up to 6 months at a time.
On top of providing its residents with a stable home while in recovery, participants can also benefit from regular and nutritious meals, offered up in a warm, welcoming, homely environment.
While on this program, residents will take part in individual and group counseling sessions, as well as in-house support groups like Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. Overall, the program’s approach and principles are based on the 12-step philosophy.
Referrals to this facility are accepted 24 hours a day, pending availability.
Treatment here is personalized depending on residents’ unique situations, needs, and preferences. With that being said, several therapeutic styles are used as needed, including but not limited to Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Trauma Informed Care.
