Dare U to Care in Los Angeles, California provides both residential and outpatient drug rehab programs. They also offer a sober living home. A former daycare provider started the treatment center in 1993 when she saw a need for personal change. She also wanted to have a positive impact on her community. Licensed in 1995, the program received certification from California in 1998. One of the goals of the center is to help mothers who are struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.
There are many treatment programs offered at the center, including 12 Step programs. They also have spiritual empowerment, anger management and grief loss programs.
As a client you’ll also have access to drug education, parenting programs, group and family counseling and family reunification services. There’s also a unique work program. The owners of the facility saw a need for job training, so they bought a fried chicken franchise. Clients can work at the restaurant to help cover their costs of treatment and also learn job skills.
