About Denali Family Services – Wasilla
Denali Family Services (DFS), located in Wasilla, Alaska, provides mental and behavioral health care for youth (ages 3-21) and their families. Specialized services are available for clients with co-occurring addiction and mental illness. DFS offers home, school, and community-based care. Outpatient

Clients and families also participate in age-specific, recovery-focused life-skills training. Topics include coping, self-care, wellness, emotional regulation, medication management, and relapse prevention. An array of evidence-based complementary therapies is available, including eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and recreational therapy. Afterschool and winter and summer break services are included.
Aftercare
Their aftercare programs provide a complete continuum of care aligned with clients’ evolving needs. Services may include step-down support, academic and vocational training, and referrals for additional services.
