About Denver CARES – Denver
Denver Community Addiction Rehabilitation and Evaluation Services (CARES) is a short term residential treatment for individuals with substance abuse disorder in Denver, Colorado. They provide safe and humane withdrawal management management for individuals suffering from substance abuse disorder.
Your services here will include medication management for alcohol, opioid and methamphetamine use disorders. When you are admitted here at the facility, you will be required to complete a comprehensive evaluation and may be referred to CARES for treatment through the court, probation, emergency service, law enforcement or by self referral.
This center operates around the clock any time of day or night. Emergency services will transport individuals to Denver CARESas needed every time.
Clients here receive vital sign checks, sleep accommodations as well as medication assisted treatment, well balanced meals and group therapy.
You will be provided with residential treatment for substance abuse disorder. Male and female clients are housed separately in shared living spaces with the male dorms accommodating 28 clients and female dorms accommodating 14 clients.
Your time in this program could be anywhere from 45 to 90 days. You’ll participate in counseling groups and educational sessions that talk about things like coping skills, relapse prevention, smoking cessation and grief management. They also offer holistic activities like yoga and art therapy.
You will be connected to a case coordinator who will support you with basic life skills, housing along with employment, and continuation of treatment as needed. Your care here is tailored which will include specific needs of women and men focusing on the challenges each individual needs.
