Dilworth Center is an alcohol and drug treatment facility in Charlotte, North Carolina that treats adults and adolescents. The programs available for clients to participate in include an intensive outpatient program (IOP), a nurses aftercare treatment program and a professionals program.

Level One involves group therapy sessions and educational lectures. Level Two allows clients to build on what they learned in level one treatment and learn about relapse prevention strategies.

The evidence-based therapies used at Dilworth Center include motivational interviewing (MI), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and group counseling. These therapeutic approaches help patients have a more positive mindset and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

A unique thing about this facility is its kid’s program. The Dilworth Kids Program is designed to help children understand their parent’s substance use disorder and cope with it. One reviewer praised the staff members for being consistent in their support and being authentic and warm.
