About Dream – Hays, Kansas

Dream Incorporated is located in the town of Hays, Kansas, and is all about helping people, especially kids and teens, deal with addiction in a way that focuses on their strengths.
They offer intensive outpatient programs for adults and teens as well as counseling, aftercare, family treatment and workshops. They also run educational summer camps that give kids from families affected by addiction a place to learn, grow and have fun.

What I find really unique is their summer camp program. Instead of just teaching kids about addiction, they help them recognize their own strengths and use them in a positive way. These camps have been running since 1990 and have shown amazing results in helping kids understand addiction, develop coping skills, set goals and build self-esteem.

The camps take place at Cedar Bluff Reservoir in Western Kansas which is a peaceful and beautiful setting where kids can play, laugh and learn in a supportive environment.

They also offer weekend treatment retreats for both teens and adults who are already in their programs. These retreats help people work through recovery issues, rebuild relationships and improve communication in a relaxing outdoor setting. Families are involved too which is great because addiction affects everyone, not just the person struggling with it.

Dream Incorporated is more than just a treatment center. They are creating a supportive community where people can heal, learn and move forward in life. Their approach is about more than just recovery. It is about building a better future.
