Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center

Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center has provided comprehensive substance use and mental health treatment services to the residents of Eastern Montana. They have facilities throughout Eastern Montana, including this center in Miles City.

The Miles City location offers outpatient mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment. Additionally, they have two residential group homes within two miles of the health center. The center accepts Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans Administration clients, and private insurance. They work with limited income clients on the HELP Program (Montana Health and Economic Livelihood Partnership). They won’t turn any clients away because of an inability to pay.

Early intervention is important when it comes to mental health. That’s why the CSCT Program is valuable. The program partners with local schools to provide programs that focus on enhancing protective factors in young people’s lives while reducing risk factors.

Another great program offered through this location is the Community Rehab & Support Services Day Treatment. This program is for clients who need additional support services beyond a regular outpatient program but who don’t need full hospitalization. Clients receive occupational and supportive therapy, community living training, group therapy, recreation, and socialization activities.

The treatment center in Miles City is just under two miles from the historic Olive Hotel. The hotel used to be the Hotel Leighton and was seen in the epic Western television miniseries Lonesome Dove.
