Encore Recovery Solutions in Fairfax, Virginia, was a facility that provided outpatient substance use disorder and mental health care services. The treatment services they offered included an intensive outpatient program (IOP), a general outpatient program and a partial hospitalization program (PHP).

Clients in the IOP would meet three to five days a week depending on their needs. Encore Recovery Services made receiving treatment convenient by offering treatment in the daytime and the evening. This allowed clients to maintain their professional or academic schedule while receiving the support they needed.

Situated in Arlington, the facility was not far from Washington, DC, and patients could travel to and from the location using public transportation like Balson Metro. It also gave clients an opportunity to enjoy unique activities after treatment sessions, such as visiting the Smithsonian Museum or walking around the National Mall.

Some of the clinical interventions that were available included medication assisted treatment, experiential therapies and trauma specific treatment modalities. Experiential therapies could be effective at helping clients find new ways to process their negative emotions.
