About Fairwinds Treatment Center – Clearwater
Located in Clearwater, Florida, Fairwinds Treatment Center is a comprehensive addiction treatment and behavioral health facility. They provide inpatient and outpatient treatment. You choose from a partial hospitalization program, an intensive outpatient program, and medical detox. They also have treatment for eating disorders and mental health disorders.
The cottage-style setting of the residential program will offer you a comfortable and structured sober environment. With 24-hour care, a dual diagnosis treatment model that includes mental health care is used for optimal success.
The partial hospitalization program options are offered during the day and evenings to accommodate your work, school, and home schedules. There is an IOP for eating disorders and one for addiction treatment. If you choose one of these programs, you’ll engage in individual, group, and family therapy, with three days of treatment sessions per week.
The addiction IOP will help you focus on understanding the brain chemistry of addiction, relapse prevention skills, and tools for managing cravings. You’ll learn about and engage in the 12 steps and receive management support for post-acute withdrawal syndrome. Groups are limited to eight people at a time. IOP sessions are offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
