Family and Children’s Services in an outpatient treatment program located in Ithaca, New York. They’re a private, nonprofit community agency that serves children, families, and adults They provide services for mental health and other social services needs. They take pride in offering a diverse and inclusive approach for all people.
One thing that sticks out to me is they offer targeted outreach to youth in the community. For children and youth, you have the chance to engage in a variety of services. If your child is in need of therapy or psychiatry services, this program can offer that. For therapy, it can help with depression and anxiety as well as crisis management. Their psychiatry services can aid in getting appropriate medications as well additional referrals for needed services.
They offer specialty clinical services if you have an infant, toddler, or preschooler who’s at risk of developing social, emotional, and/or psychological problems. This program is called the Zero to Five Project and it is a trauma-informed mental health service.
For adults, they offer similar services to what they offer children and youth. However, you also have the opportunity to receive Employment Assistance Services. This is a free and confidential counseling service for employees and their family members. This can help you discuss personal, family, and work-related concerns in a safe, supportive environment. They can also provide support services for older adults and their family members.
